Head of Global PPAs and Renewable Energy Solutions at Enel

He joined Enel Group at the end of 2004 through “Enel Unión Fenosa Renovables”. He has held several positions inside Enel Green Power, mainly dedicated to operational, control and energy management activities for EGP's renewable energy portfolio in Spain and Portugal. In 2015, he became Marketing Director for Latin America. In this role, he focused on energy management for EGP's renewable energy portfolio in Latin America, coordination of business opportunities and execution of energy sales/purchases, as well as risk management and hedging of the portfolio's exposure to energy commodities.

In 2016, he moved to Rome, where he took over as Global Marketing Director. He is responsible for the exploration, creation, structuring and pricing of long-term PPAs worldwide, with industrial, commercial and non-traditional customers, as well as supporting pricing strategies for energy auctions.

Javier graduated in Industrial Engineering specializing in energy systems in the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 1999 and began his career working in responsible roles in engineering areas, mainly in the field of renewable energy.
