ENTRY TO THE COUNTRY

Brazil does not require a visa for citizens from the Americas, Europe, and several other nationalities. The only exceptions within the Americas are Cuba and Haiti, who do require a tourist visa to travel to Brazil.

If your nationality requires a visa to enter Brazil, you can apply for it online through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.

If you are a citizen of any of the Mercosur countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela), you can travel to Brazil with your national identity card, without needing to carry a passport.

The yellow fever vaccine is required for travelers arriving in Brazil from Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.

Brazil authorizes the entry of international tourists without the need for proof of antigen test or vaccination certificate.
